Welcome to The Recharged Mama! I am a mom, stepmom, & wife. I work full-time from home. I hold a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Human Resources Management. I love reading, learning new things, relaxing with my beautiful family, and the summer sun.
This blog is a side passion of mine where I help busy moms that work-from-home find balance in their daily lives and tools to recharge their life.
The root of it all is self-care and organization. Both are my passion! At The Recharged Mama you’ll find self-care tips and tools, along with helpful guides to make your life easier and more manageable.
I have been working from home full-time since March 13th, 2020 at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time I had 6 kiddos and was pregnant with my last little one. It certainly wasn’t always easy. Before that, I had been able to work from home only on occasion. I had to adapt fairly quickly.
The last few years has given me the ability to see my children more (which I LOVE) and learn how to manage the chaos that working from home as a mom of toddlers and school-agers can bring!
That is why I started this blog. Working from home is not the same as going to your 9-5. That car ride to work recharges you. You get to decompress from your busy life at home with kids and taking care of a home.
When you work from home as a mom, it can be hard to separate the two. There isn’t much time to decompress or recharge without having your name called a million times or your work pinging you every 20 minutes. Not to mention that pile of laundry that is starting to pile up!
