With the rising costs of gas, food, clothes, etc…basically every necessity we can think of, it is only natural to want to find ways to boost your income. I have pulled together 12 easy ways to make a side income and get some extra cash into your wallet.

Every service or app that is listed, I personally use almost daily, with very little time or effort. These won’t get you rich, but you can make some decent extra cash.

I have included my own screen shots to show you that they do in fact work. Please note that all dollar amounts and points I have earned below did not come from referrals.

This post is the first time I am actually referring these apps in any public way (a few don’t even have referral codes, so I provided their main link).

I have also included below how to get my FREE Side Income Worksheet! This will help you keep track of and organize all apps/websites, earnings, and referral codes all in one place!

1. Rakuten

Rakuten is an awesome cash back app where you can find almost any store you normally shop at.

Simply link your cards and shop from the app or browser extension. Redeeming your earnings is quarterly and can be sent via PayPal or check.

2. Upromise

Upromise is another cash back app. A unique feature is that they allow you to link to an existing 529 college savings plan or your bank account to receive your earnings.

This is the first cash back app I ever used and it has expanded to include restaurants. I have been a loyal member since 2001.

3. e-Rewards

e-Rewards is all about survey’s. The points rack up pretty quickly and you can redeem them for an assortment of gift cards.

4. Drop

The Drop app is super fun. Between surveys, games, bonus points, and cash back from shopping, all in one app, I have redeemed $400 worth of points so far.

Drop has been the fastest in racking up points that convert to gift cards. Extremely convenient to redeem during Christmas time! Easy side income!

5. Fetch Rewards

Fetch is great! You earn points by scanning your receipts either by taking a picture and uploading (done directly from app) or scanning your email for receipts.

Fetch also connects with certain brands and will give extra reward points for certain products purchased. This is another app that racks up the points pretty quickly!

6. Receipt Hog

Receipt Hog can link to your Amazon accounts and various other merchants to scan for receipts where you earn points. You can also scan your paper receipts directly through the app.

Certain stores reward you to “spin” for extra points. You can also enter into sweepstakes. Coins can be redeemed via PayPal, Amazon, or Visa gift cards.

7. ReceiptPal

Receiptpal is similar to other receipt apps I have mentioned. You can upload your paper receipts, or link email accounts and various other merchants accounts (Walmart, Instacart, etc).

You can enter into sweepstakes and redeem your reward points for Amazon e-gift cards or various merchant gift cards.

8. Tapestri

I just began using Tapestri and it is the simplest of all since it runs in the background of your device and collects data. Don’t worry, it doesn’t collect personal information!

You may also do surveys on this app as well and refer people to earn money. Side income can’t get any simpler than this. Can it?

9. Merryfield

I am fairly new to Merryfield, but I am enjoying so far. The brands Merryfield teams up with are typically healthy foods like Plum Organics (we buy a lot since we have little ones), Stonyfield Organic, Once Upon a Farm, Barilla, Honest, and many more.

You basically get back 50 points per $1, which they say is equivalent to about 5% cash back. It is a win-win if you are needing ideas on healthier eating and receiving cash back.

Reward points can be redeemed for a variety of gift cards.

10. Foap

Foap is also a new one for me. If you enjoy photographer or if you are a photographer this is a great app as far as I can tell.

You upload your photos and can enter contests to win rewards. People can also purchase your photos! I am having fun with this app so far.

11. Streetbees

Streetbees is probably my favorite app when it comes to entertainment in order to earn some dough! They run studies that they call “stories” in order to collect data. The information collected from you via the “stories”, assists the company in understanding trends and behavior.

This information is passed along to brands to help them cater to their customers’. Taking pictures, answering fun questions are just a couple reasons why I truly enjoy this app. My Referral Code is 9785EN.

12. Influenster

Influensters is another fun app. You answers polls, questions to qualify for a Voxbox.

A Voxbox is actual products (or coupons to purchase a product) that is sent to you (to keep) to review using your honest opinion.

Survey Says…

Survey says I enjoy apps that get me and my family extra side income and gift cards! These are simple, but fun ways to add to your piggy bank. I am on a mission to find more apps like those I mentioned above. Please leave a comment with suggestions if you have one! I’d love to try it out!
